Moraira is located on the Costa Blanca 80 km north of Alicante. Former small fishing port (the coast was inhabited late because of piracy), it knows an important development in the 60s with the construction of many second homes.

But unlike resorts further south, the targeted target is more upscale with mostly houses (mostly to the north). At the port of Moraira, there is a classic resort with restaurants, shops seaside and an old town with some nice streets.

The most authentic neighborhood is located east side, near the Cap d'Or, in the locality of El Portet.
